Renusol MetaSole+ on an insulated trapezoidal roof
59,155 kWh (est.)
Pyronix Ltd’s roof faces south at a shallow 5° pitch, which is good for solar, but that side of the building is overlooked by a large aerial mast and a taller neighbouring building. Both cast shade across parts of the array during the day, and on a standard string system one shaded panel can drag down the output of the whole string. The roof had also just been replaced with insulated trapezoidal panels, so the fixings needed to suit that roof without compromising it.
The system was commissioned in June 2026 and is now registered on SolarEdge monitoring. The design estimates around 59,155 kWh a year (est.), with about 39,271 kWh of that used on site (est.) and the rest exported to the grid.
